In reply the narrator remarked that she was an interesting girl and asked him if her hair was long or short . The man was puzzled at the question and said that it was her eyes that attracted his attention and not her hair . Her eyes were very beautiful but they were of no use to the girl because she was completely blind . He asked the narrator if he had not noticed it . The narrator was very much shocked to learn this as he had conversed with the girl for so long yet he was not aware of it .

To cheat the girl made him feel ” troubled and lonely . ” At the end of the play the new fellow passenger made him spell – bound by informing him that the beautiful eyes ” of the girl were totally useless as she herself was blind . So , temporary pretention of the writer being normal left him just outsmart .

The speaker in this instance is “The Eyes Have It” by Ruskin Bond, who serves as the story’s narrator.

In the train cabin, the narrator mentioned this to the girl co-passenger.

As a result, the narrator realised that the girl actually had a lovely face. He clarified his statement by stating that a beautiful face could also be fascinating.

The storyteller was questioned by the girl as to why he failed to glance outdoors. He feigned studying the landscape at the moment. The boy inquired as to the girl’s observation that the trees appeared to be moving but were actually static. The young lady revealed that it always happens. His uncertainties were allayed in this manner.

The girl was very beautiul and attractive. To a young man like the narrator,  her company must be joyful. The narrator was deeply enjoying her company. But the girl had left the compartment. The new passenger who was not as attractive as the girl, took her place. The man felt this and made the remark.
