The Times of India, one of the most well-known Indian publications, is linked to Dell and offers scholarships to students in class 10th through 12th. TIMES SCHOLARS 2024 is the program name for these scholarships. The Times of India runs this scholarship program in an effort to increase young school pupils’ awareness, responsibility, and knowledge.
The primary goal of this scholarship program is to assist students strengthen their reading habits, which will enable them to comprehend society and create a better one for all of us in the future. Candidates for this Times scholarship are students in classes 10th through12th.

The Times Scholarship Requirements
There are two tiers to the Times Scholarship program, which are outlined below, for students in grades 10th through 12th. There are two categories in which the participants will be assessed: these levels.
Students in Classes 10th make up Level 1.
Students in Classes 12th make up Level 2.
For school students, this is the sole qualifying requirement needed to apply for the Times Scholarship 2024.
Scholarship Awards and Prizes
Following the final evaluation for this scholarship program, candidates will receive several awards and prizes from Bennett University, Dell, and the Times of India. The following lists the scholarship recipients at each level.
Class 10th: A Dell laptop will be given to each of the top 100 pupils.
Class12th: A Dell laptop will be given to each of the top 100 pupils. Selected Class 12th students will also be eligible to apply for admission to Bennett University’s undergraduate programs and receive a one-year scholarship. The students must meet the university’s requirements for eligibility.
Evaluation Procedure for the Times Scholarship 2024
The Times of India will run the whole scholarship program both online and in print articles.
Reading Phase:
Over the course of 50 days, starting on October 25, The Times of India newspaper will publish ONE story every day in its print form covering a variety of topics including current events, science & technology, sports, politics, social concerns, education, and worldwide happenings. These articles will provide multifaceted viewpoints to aid students in developing a better comprehension of a range of fascinating topics. The labels on the articles will say “TIMES SCHOLARS.”
Practice Exams and Presentations:
Online practice exams with questions based on the article will be held every week. Candidates will be required to summarize articles twice throughout the program and submit their opinions in the form of a PowerPoint presentation that they may post to the website. The three tales in each practice exam will have six questions, which you will have fifteen minutes to complete.
Final Exam:
In December 2024, an online exam and interview will be held to evaluate the students’ comprehension and viewpoint. There will be eleven tales in the exam, each with six questions that must be completed in sixty minutes.
First Shortlist and Interviews:
The program’s First Shortlist will be selected based on the cumulative score, which is the sum of the participants’ participation points from the practice exams and presentations plus their final exam scores. The candidates with the highest cumulative score will be required to attend in-person interviews.
Winners and congratulations:
100 winners will be selected for each of the two levels (as indicated in the previously given eligibility requirements). Details of a felicitation celebration, to which a select few will be invited, will be shared at a later time.

How to Apply and How It Works
The Times Scholars Scholarship application process will only be available online. Go to www.timesscholars.com and click the “Register Now” option to submit an online application. Complete the application form completely and send it in. The online application deadline is November 2024.

There will be articles in this newspaper covering a wide range of topics, including global development, science, sports, social concerns, current events, and technology. Students’ learning and skill development in reading will be aided by these articles. This will go on for a maximum of three months.
Three months later, in the middle of December 2024, an online test based on stories from the previous three months’ edition of “The Times of India” newspaper would be conducted. Following the online exam, a student knowledge and future prospects assessment was conducted by interview. The scholarship winner will be announced in February 2024.
